Balanced Fertilization for Improved Nutrient use Efficiency and Mulberry Productivity

نویسندگان

چکیده

Aim: To study the effects of balanced fertilization in improving leaf yield, quality and nutrient use efficiency mulberry.
Study Design: Experiment was conducted randomized block design (RBD) consisting 7 treatments 3 replications.
Place Duration Study: The present at Central Sericultural Research Training Institute, Berhampore ((Latitude 24º05ʹN & Longitude 88º15ʹE; 18 m > MSL), West Bengal, India two seasons during 2018 (July-August; September-October).
 Methodology: Existing S-1635 mulberry plantation (10year-old; 60 cm × spacing; net plot area: 32 m2) utilized. Experiments were (July-August, 2018; September-October, 2018) replications. this included, T1: 100% N-P2O5-K2O+S+Zn with Urea-SSP-10:26:26 + Bentonite Sulphur (8 kg ha-1) Zinc Sulphate (1 as BF; T2: 75% T3: N-P2O5-K2O alone (Urea-SSP-10:26:26); T4: T5: (Urea-DAP-MOP); T6: (Urea-SSP-MOP) farmers′ practice (FP); T7: Nutrients omission (Control). recommended fertilizer dose (100%) for irrigated production Eastern region is N-P2O5-K2O=67-36-22 ha-1 crop-1. All fertilizers applied equal splits on 15th 30th day after pruning.
Results: This reveals importance N, P, K, S Zn sustainable productivity, which reflected by maximum values yield attributes, chlorophyll content yield. Further, (in terms total soluble protein sugar) significantly improved fertilization. Higher PFP AUE also recorded compound/complex than straight fertilizers; but exhibited remarkable enhancement.
Conclusion: results prove that @ 67-36-22 (Urea-SSP-10:26:26) sulphur zinc sulphate effective productivity through enhanced efficiency. could be useful realizing an efficient management strategy cultivation.

Maize productivity and nutrient use efficiency in Western Kenya as affected by soil type and crop management

Low soil fertility and high weed infestation are the main culprits for the declining maize production inWestern Kenya. Technology packages to address these constraints exist, but their effectiveness is likely to be influenced by variability in soil types and farm management practices in the region. Trials were conducted during the 2008/2009 cropping seasons to investigate the nutrient use e...

Nutrient Use Efficiency in Plants

Invariably, many agricultural soils of the world are deficient in one or more of the essential nutrients needed to support healthy plants. Acidity, alkalinity, salinity, anthropogenic processes, nature of farming, and erosion can lead to soil degradation. Additions of fertilizers and/or amendments are essential for a proper nutrient supply and maximum yields. Estimates of overall efficiency of ...

Maximizing root/rhizosphere efficiency to improve crop productivity and nutrient use efficiency in intensive agriculture of China.

Root and rhizosphere research has been conducted for many decades, but the underlying strategy of root/rhizosphere processes and management in intensive cropping systems remain largely to be determined. Improved grain production to meet the food demand of an increasing population has been highly dependent on chemical fertilizer input based on the traditionally assumed notion of 'high input, hig...

Resource use efficiency of transgenic cotton and peanut intercropping system using modified fertilization technique

Of the several mechanisms that can bring about efficient resource use, the most widelyapplicable one is intercropping systems that can make better use of resources. The aim of thisstudy was to evaluate resource capture and resource use efficiency in transgenic cotton-peanutintercropping system and in their respective sole crops with using 25-50% substitution ofrecommended dose of nitrogen (RDN)...
